Extended Day Leader:
Melissa Jolly worked as a Registered Nurse for 33 years in LaGrange before retiring from that career and coming to work part-time at Hillside. Her three grown daughters attended First Presbyterian Montessori when they were children and she was impressed with the theory and practice as well as with their success in the Montessori classrooms. As a parent of Montessori students, Melissa appreciated the welcoming school community, the focus on developing lifelong learners, and the children’s learning experiences in nature.
Melissa loves coming to work with her students in the afternoon program and enjoys seeing their faces light up when they learn something new.
