LOWER ELEMENTARY LEAD GUIDE:
Miranda joined Hillside Montessori of LaGrange at the beginning of 2018 as an assistant in the Upper Elementary Community. Miranda fell in love with the philosophy of Montessori and began training under Jennifer Dorrell in June of 2020. She married her husband, Matthew, also in June of 2020 and just recently had their first child, Henry Luke, in 2021. She became the Lower Elementary Lead Guide in August of 2021. Miranda has completed the Lower Elementary portion of her Montessori Training at MTEI in Atlanta and is working on the Upper Elementary portion to earn a full Elementary I-II credential.
Miranda has always had a passion for children. She believes that adults can learn just as much from children, as children can from adults. Miranda was raised in a strong, loving family that values faith, family, relationships, respect, and education. She knows that the cycle of education never officially ends, because each day brings something new with a different perspective.
Miranda believes that everyone is a life-long learner and embraces that belief full-heartedly. Favorite hobbies for Miranda include fishing, kayaking, reading, spending time with her family, and finding ways to be in nature.
