Business Manager:
Nilia joined Hillside Montessori of LaGrange as the Business Manager in September 2024. Raised in the Metro Atlanta area, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Kennesaw State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Information Technology with a concentration in Information Systems Management.
Nilia’s professional journey began at MECU Credit Union of Baltimore, where she gained extensive experience working with various levels of management, including C-suite executives. During her time at MECU, she was responsible for reconciliations, loans, investments, liquidity tracking, and financial forecasting, ultimately advancing to the roleof Accountant II.
After her time at MECU, Nilia transitioned to the Baltimore County Government, where she oversaw all finance and accounting functions for theDepartment of Economic and Workforce Development loan and grant programs. She later joined Towson University as a Systems Analyst, acting as a liaison between end users, third-party vendors, and IT departments while managing key IT projects.
Now back in Georgia, Nilia is excited to bring her diverse experience and expertise to Hillside Montessori of LaGrange, where she is dedicated to supporting the school’s mission and growth.
