BOARD PRESIDENT: Mark holds a BA from Eckerd College, and a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree from Vanderbilt University.
He leads a professional double life: He assists organizations with strategic planning, board development, and leadership training, drawing on nearly 20 years of direct experience in nonprofit management. He specializes in the “people skills” that raise folks above the daily drama to work together on what’s important. He is also a certified sexuality educator, training parents how to have “those conversations” with their kids, and helping them lay the foundations for healthy decisions as their children grow older.
He is honored to currently hold the title of “first gentleman” at LaGrange College, where his wife is president. Their two sons have attended Montessori programs from infancy, and are now happily ensconced at Hillside.
