PRIMARY ASSISTANT GUIDE:
Ellen Taylor is a LaGrange, Georgia native. She first attended Southern Union before continuing her education at Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2023. After graduating, Ellen returned home and began her teaching career as a first grade teacher with Troup County Public Schools. Through her experience in education, she developed a strong interest in the Montessori philosophy and approach to learning.
In February of 2026, Ellen welcomed her first child, Piper, which further deepened her passion for early childhood education and child development. She is excited to begin her Montessori journey as an Assistant Primary Guide at Hillside Montessori and looks forward to growing alongside her students while helping create a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
