PRIMARY GUIDE:
Halee Jones
Halee joins the Primary Community at Hillside Montessori in Fall 2026. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with concentrations in Vocal and Instrumental Studies from Auburn University and comes to Hillside after four years at FPC Montessori in LaGrange, where she served as both the Music Specialist and Toddler Assistant Guide. During her time there, she developed a deep appreciation for the Montessori philosophy and the joy of supporting children as independent learners.
As a mother of two toddler boys, Thatcher and Whitaker, Halee has loved watching her own children thrive in a Montessori environment and is excited for them to join her at Hillside Montessori. She is currently completing her Early Childhood training through the Montessori Teacher Education Institute in Atlanta as she works toward earning her AMS Early Childhood Certification. Halee looks forward to blending her background in music education with her Montessori studies to create a joyful and engaging classroom experience for all students.
Halee and her husband, Walter, have lived together in LaGrange since 2018. Before transitioning into Montessori education, she enjoyed serving as the music specialist at Rosemont Elementary School and Hillcrest Elementary School. After the birth of her sons in 2022 and 2024, Halee discovered her passion in Montessori education; a place where children are encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity, and independence.
She is thrilled to become part of the Hillside Montessori community and looks forward to getting to know each child and family in the year ahead.
